Hey seoul crushers!
Man, you won’t believe what happened in Busan, South Korea. This woman fell from the 20th floor of an apartment building, just months before she was supposed to get married. Can you imagine? Her fiancé was the last person to see her alive.
So this woman, let’s call her Sujeong (not her real name), was all set to tie the knot next March. But then this happens out of nowhere. Her family is totally shocked, especially since there wasn’t even a suicide note or anything.
Her dad is just devastated, you know? He’s like, there’s no way his daughter would do this. He says she was this strong, independent woman with a great career. She did all sorts of cool stuff – home shopping, teaching Pilates, even had a popular blog.
Here’s what her dad said: “There’s no way this could’ve happened. She wasn’t the type to commit suicide. She was strong-willed, managed her life well, worked in home shopping, as a Pilates instructor, and even ran a powerful blog”.
And her younger sibling? They’re super frustrated too. They’re saying Sujeong had her life together and was planning for the future. It just doesn’t make sense that she’d do something so drastic right before getting married. The sibling even wonders why the fiancé didn’t try harder to stop it from happening.
The sibling said: “She was working hard, making money. How could this be suicide? Especially when she was about to get married. She wasn’t sick, nor was she mentally unstable, so it’s strange that he just watched all of it happen”.
Now, the only person who saw what went down was her fiancé, this guy named Mr. Kang. He says they had a fight before it happened. According to him, Sujeong said she was gonna go meet her friends after they argued.
He tried to stop her, grabbed her wrist and everything, but she pulled away. Then she walked over to the balcony and for a second, she held onto the railing as she fell. Kang says he tried to save her, but he just couldn’t.
Here’s what the fiancé said: “She said, ‘I’m upset from the argument, so I’m going out to meet my friends,’ something like that. I told her she shouldn’t go out in that state, after a fight. I grabbed her wrist, but she shook it off and said, ‘This is what you wanted, isn’t it?’ Then she walked to the balcony. As she fell, she grabbed onto the railing. I rushed over to try to grab her, but I couldn’t”.
It’s just heartbreaking, you know? And there are still so many questions as they keep investigating what happened.
