How Two K-pop Groups Were Publicly Embarrassed”

Hey seoul crushers!

So, you know how sometimes award shows can be a bit of a mess? Well, the Seoul International Drama Awards just took that to a whole new level. Fans are absolutely livid right now, and here’s why:

First off, ZEROBASEONE showed up despite being super busy with their world tour. Talk about dedication, right? But guess what? Their performance got cut ridiculously short. It was like they blinked and it was over! Poor Ricky had his entire part chopped off by a commercial break. Can you imagine?

As one fan put it: “all of ricky’s parts got cut by an ad.. what kind of an award show invite an artist but dont even give them the airtime they deserve”. Ouch, harsh but fair.

It gets worse. The group basically ran on stage, performed without so much as a hello, and then zoomed off. Talk about a quickie!

But wait, there’s more! N.Flying’s Hwesung had his performance canned at the last second due to some venue delays. Fans were hyped for this, and then… nothing. Zilch. Zip.

His label initially said something like: “We regret to inform you that the congratulatory performance for the 2024 SBS Seoul Drama Awards, scheduled for today, has been canceled due to delays at the venue.” Yeah, real smooth move there.

Hwesung himself chimed in later, saying he was just chillin’ backstage when he found out his turn was skipped. He ended up rushing home, feeling pretty bad for the fans who’d been waiting all day. Talk about a bummer!

Needless to say, fans are fuming. They’re calling for a proper apology from the organizers. I mean, these artists went out of their way to show up and perform, and this is how they get treated? Not cool, folks.

So, what do you think? Should the award show people face the music (pun intended)? Let’s chat about it in the comments!
