Exposing Financial Leeches on National TV

Hey seoul crushers!

Did you hear about Kwon Eunbi? She totally called out her so-called friends on TV for bugging her about loans. Wild, right?

So, Eunbi was on this SBS show called Dolsing Fourmen with Kim Wansun and Hwasa from MAMAMOO. She was just chatting about her career and how things have changed for her lately.

She was looking back at her Waterbomb Festival performance this year, which was a game-changer for her song “Underwater.” It’s funny how things work out – the song didn’t really take off when it first came out, but after Waterbomb? Boom! It blew up and stayed on the Korean charts for months. Eunbi was like, “You never know when or how things will turn out in people’s lives.”

But you know how it goes – with success comes some new challenges. Eunbi mentioned that nowadays, she’s getting all these calls from people she knows, asking to borrow money. Talk about awkward!

She said it’s not like they’re asking for huge amounts or anything. She could probably swing it, but she’s worried that if she says yes once, it’ll become a thing, you know?

In Eunbi’s own words:

“It’s not a huge amount. It’s something I can lend, but if I lend it to someone once, they will probably keep asking for more”.

Poor Eunbi was wondering out loud how to politely turn these people down. One of the hosts, Lee Sang Min, gave her some solid advice – just steer clear of lending money altogether. It usually ends up causing drama for everyone involved.

Oh, and get this – Eunbi’s been catching some heat lately for supposedly acting “inappropriate” with an NCT member. Drama never ends in K-pop, huh?
