Hey seoul crushers!
Okay, so get this – there’s this super popular singer from Hong Kong named Vivian Chow, right? She’s been a big deal since the 90s, doing all kinds of music like Cantopop, Mandopop, even some J-Pop and Gospel stuff. Pretty cool, huh?
So anyway, she’s doing this world tour called “A Long and Lasting Love” (aww, cute name!), and during her show in Macau on August 31st, she drops this bombshell – it’s gonna be her last tour ever! Talk about a shocker!
Now, don’t freak out completely – she’s not totally quitting the biz. She’s just saying goodbye to big concerts and stuff. Here’s what she said: “This tour is all about singing my heart out for the fans who love me. You know how life changes and all that? Well, I’m at that point where I want different things now. Every show on this tour has been like a countdown. This is probably my last big solo concert.”
So what’s next for Vivian? Well, she’s gonna focus on taking care of herself, spending time with her family, and – get this – her aging cats! Yep, you heard that right. She literally said, “My cats are getting older too. I want to hang out more with them and my hubby.” Cat lady goals, am I right?
Funny thing is, this isn’t the first time she’s stepped back from the spotlight. Back in ’98, she kinda semi-retired to do artsy stuff like painting and writing. But she made a comeback in 2004 and has been rocking stages for the last 20 years.
So yeah, it’s the end of an era for Vivian Chow fans. But hey, at least her cats are gonna be living their best lives now!
